On Saturday in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, Ghanaian forward Nathan Opoku played as OH Leuven lost to RWD Molenbeek.

Leuven lost 2-1 to the freshly promoted team on their own field, and the dynamic attacker started the game and played the full game.

Despite the team’s defeat at the King Power at Den Dreef Stadion, Opoku had a significant impact.

Just 17 minutes into the game, the 22-year-old was a part of the progression that resulted in Richie Sagrado scoring the game’s first goal for the home team.

Last season, he scored three goals and an assist in in seven appearances but this season, in the two matches he has played , he has scored one and assisted one.

He’s aiming to better his tally last season to continue his development as a player in on track.

The visitors won and earned all three points.
