The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association are planning to begin the 2020-2021 Ghana Premier League Season on October 2020.
The Ghana Football league season was cancelled and declared null and void by the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association after close to two months of no games due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
The top-flight league is however likely to return on October 2020 when it is medically advisable to play the game.
However, Premier League clubs will receive $15,000 while Division One Clubs and the Ghana League Clubs Association(GHALCA) will pocket $7,000 and $2,000 respectively from the GFA as part of the COVID 19 relief fund sent by FIFA.
