Newcastle are in talks with Manchester United over a possible loan deal for Dean Henderson, 90min understands.
The 24-year-old has been unable to dislodge David de Gea as United’s number-one goalkeeper, and is anxious to leave Old Trafford so he can play regular first team football.
United have been reluctant to part ways with Henderson, even though they also have the experienced Tom Heaton on their books, but it’s 90min‘s understanding that the England international could now be given the opportunity to go elsewhere.
Newcastle had been interested in signing Arsenal stopper Bernd Leno on loan, but the Magpies have now turned their attention to Henderson.
