Former Hearts of Oak skipper,Yaw Amankwaah Mireku has claimed that he has no regrets whatsoever concerning his decision to pursue football as a career.
Amankwaah had a fantastic career with Accra Hearts of Oak, he won multiple titles with the club including CAF Champions league, CAF Confederations cup and the domestic league.
His extraordinary performances earned him a rare opportunity for a local based player to represent the country as a Black Stars Player.
Speaking to Asempa FM, “If I die and come back ten times, I will always want to be a footballer”.
“I am not really a wealthy person because of football but I will never say I have regretted playing football”, he concluded.
Mireku also represented clubs like Viva Karela(India), Pure Joy FC and Wa All Stars.
