Asante Kotoko’s rescheduled CAF Champions League fixture with FC Nouadhibou has been called off for the second time due to COVID 19 issues.
The game which was originally slated for yesterday did not come on after some players of Nouadhibou who tested positive for Covid-19 were not part of the team.
Per reports, FC Nouadhibou failed to present the COVID 19 test of their players which has resulted in the call-off of today’s fixture.
The club shall wait on CAF’s decision to see their fate in the next round of the CAF Champions League.
The first leg ended one all with Osman Mohammed scoring in the 5th minute before an equalizer from the Mauritanians in the 22nd minute, converting from the penalty spot.
