Headcoach Otto Addo has revealed a playing style that could be used to hurt the Nigerians in the return leg.
The coach in the first leg press conference revealed the team’s game plan which is a new style of playing from the back in three back system.
“First of all, I don’t understand the question. It could be two.
‘’One, you don’t understand football because I think you saw that we played out from the back with three.
‘’Did you see it? Did you know before? Did you know that we were going to play with three? You knew it! Then it was not a secret. The secret plan didn’t work well.”
The first leg ended in a goalless stalemate at the Baba Yara Stadium with both sides bringing their A-factor into the game.
It was an end-to-end action in the entire 90 minutes, there will be a lot to play for in the return leg in Nigeria.
Nigeria will host Ghana in the return leg on Tuesday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
