Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has blamed the low goal scoring ability of his attackers as a reason for their 1:1 draw with Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour park on Saturday afternoon.
According to coach Samuel Boadu, his attackers were poor upfront and it really affected their game plan.
“Our goal scoring ability was very low today, we squandered a lot of chances that could have resulted in goals.
I’ve had a discussion with them and i believe they will work on that and come back harder”.
“It’s unfortunate we didn’t start the season on a good note but i believe better things will happen getting to the end of the season”, he added.
Goals from Francis Acquah and Suraj Seidu ensured that both sides leave with a point each in Bechem.
Hearts of Oak are 3rd on the league table with 44points in 28 league games.
They host Bibiani Goldstars at home on matchday 29.
