ZAMBIA goalkeeper Hazel Nali Official says the team’s target is to qualify for the Morocco 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) final tournament without involving any mathematics.
“So far so good and the morale among us players is high. We are excited ahead of the qualifiers and truth is we expect a tough game against Namibia as they have improved since the time we played them… We have to take every game that comes seriously in order qualify without any negotiations. We respect Namibia but I feel if every one of us up their game, then we are good to go,” Nali said.
The winner of the two legs would qualify to the AWCON final tournament to run from July 2-23 which also doubles as the African qualifiers to the 2023 FIFA women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
