Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi will be having a taste of European football next season as Maccabi Netanya secured an Europa conference league spot for next season.
Maccabi Netanya despite suffering a 4-0 away defeat to Maccabi Haifa on Saturday in their last play-off game , will be making a return to Europe by playing in the European conference league.
Netanya was placed 4th on the log with 3 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats in 10 playoff games.
With this qualification, Benny Lem’s side will be playing in the second round of the Europa Conference League unseeded.
Twumasi who joined Maccabi Netanya in February 2022 from German side Hannover 96 has scored 7 goals, assisted 3 in 15 games.
