The Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi is gradually turning into good shape as the Ministry of Youth And Sports Sports continues to renovate the facility.
The Stadium was closed down in February 2020 as part of the government’s plans to put the various stadia in good shape for 2023 All Africa gamed to be held in Ghana.
“The Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah (MP) has paid a surprise visit to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium over the weekend to ascertain the progress of works at the stadium.” The ministry tweeted.

The first phase of renovation works at the Sekondi Sports Stadium had also begun with the entire project expected to be completed early next year.
