Piers Morgan sides with Cristiano over Messi, Ronaldo Nazario and Maradona as Greatest footballer ever

British Broadcaster Piers Stephan Pughe Morgan has emphatically expressed his stance on Ronaldo as the Greatest footballer ever during this FIFA World Cup campaign even after the Portuguese star was eliminated at this year’s Mondial.

Piers Morgan recently released the infamous Ronaldo interview where Cristiano criticized Man United Manager Eric Ten Hag and the Man United board which led to the Portuguese Skipper’s contract termination with the English club.

Moreover, the British Broadcaster tipped Cristiano to win the FIFA World Cup yet Portugal were eliminated by Morocco in the quarter final with the five time Balon dor winner walking down the tunnel after his possible last world cup game in tears.

However, this is not the same for Cristiano’s long term rival Lionel Messi. The Argentina talisman has scored five goals and assisted thrice as he looks to clinch onto the World Cup trophy against France in the final.

During Messi’s impressive World Cup Semi Final performance against Croatia, Piers Morgan was bombarded with several tweets as to whether Cristiano still remains his best ever player.

1986 World Cup top scorer Gary Lineker of England went on to question Piers Morgan if Ronaldo still is his Greatest ever footballer.

“Is there still a debate? Asking for a goat”, Gary Lineker tweeted.

Piers Morgan immediately replied saying. ” there isn’t, it’s Ronaldo”.

Sky sports presenter Jeff Sterling then tweeted: “So where are we now @piersmorgan in the Ronaldo v Messi debate?”

Piers Morgan went ahead to make his list and ranked Ronaldo 1st, Maradona 2nd Messi probably behind Ronaldo Nazario as 4th.

Despite Ronaldo’s world cup exit, the British Broadcaster still believes the former Real Madrid man is the world’s greatest footballer above Maradona, Ronaldo Nazario and Messi.
