Ghana Premier League clubs have joined the peace campaign as Ghana nears its general election on Monday.
As the situation has been since 1992, the nation will be hoping for a violent free election during and after, regardless of the political party who will be voted into power come 7th December.
Clubs including Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Accra Hearts Of Oak, and Dreams FC have all urged Ghanaians to remain peaceful as they vote.
” No matter what, we are one people, one big family, we are together as one.
#iafc #ElevenIsToOne.” Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies tweeted.
“WE STAND FOR PEACE AHEAD OF TOMORROW’S GENERAL ELECTIONS.
ALWAYS THINK OF GHANA FIRST.
DON’T DO THINGS THAT WILL DESTROY OUR MOTHERLAND.
TOGETHER WE WILL WIN.” Techiman Eleven Wonders tweeted.
“PEACE MESSAGE IN TWI
Striker Ali Huzaif wants you to stay safe during, and after tomorrow’s election.
DFCPeaceCampaign GhanaElection2020.” Dreams FC tweeted.
