Black Stars defender, Samuel Inkoom has finally let the cat out of the bag with what really transpired between midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng, and the then head coach, James Akwesi Appiah during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Both Boateng and Sulley Muntari got sacked from camp during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, with a purported use of ‘F’ word on coach Kwesi Appiah by KP Boateng.
Samuel Inkoom in an exclusive interview with revealed indeed, there was in “F” from KP Boateng, but was directed at compatriot Sulley Muntari.
“To be honest, Boateng never insulted the coach. We were having a possession training session then when Boateng used the “F” word on Muntari after failing to pass on the ball.”
“We have go be honest, everyone on the pitch knew Boateng was not talking to the coach, so we were surprised when Akwsei Appian instructed him sit aside from the main team.”
Recently, there were talks for Boateng to be recalled into the team, as the Black Stars are aiming to end the country’s trophy drought having failed to win it since 1982.
