Prince Opoku Agyeman finally chooses between Hearts of Oak and Gold Stars as deal almost done.

The second window for domestic transfers is still opened with second round registration date set to begin on Tuesday February 1, and Medeama Sporting Club’s forward Prince Opoku Agyemang has finally chosen a destination following the clash between Accra Hearts of Oak and Bibiani Gold Stars for his signature.

Premier League debutants Bibiani Gold Stars had already submitted a temptingly juicy offer for the services of Opoku Agyemang, but Hearts of Oak pounced later with high interests to pip the premier league newbies to the signature of Prince Opoku Agyeman.

Today, we can exclusively and reliably report that the Black Stars B striker has finally chosen the Bibiani based club over the defending league champions, after Gold Stars improved their offer, making it difficult for Prince to turn down despite the interest from the Phobians.

As it stands, Medeama Sporting Club who owns the player, have sealed a deal with Bibiani Gold Stars upon the player’s consent for his transfer to the Western North side. Pending agreement of personal terms between Prince and Gold Stars, we gather that a transfer fee in the region of about GHC30,000 has been agreed between Medeama and Gold Stars, and the money has already been paid by the Dun’s Park outfit.

Prince Opoku Agyemang will arrive in Bibiani by Monday, January 31, 2022 for his medicals. Prince has been on the wish list of Accra Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu, who coached the 29-year old forward while at Medeama, and has asked the club to get the player for him. Accra based Legon Cities are the next club to express interest in signing the player, but he now looks more certain to join Gold Stars barring any last minute eventualities.
