Raphinha eyes Barcelona stay despite Arsenal interest

Brazil and Barcelona winger Raphinha has emphasized his desire to remain at Fc Barcelona for the next years despite reports suggesting a link with Arsenal this winter.

The former Leeds United winger expressed his willingness to continue with the Catalan based club Barcelona on Instagram after Barca’s 3-1 Spanish Super Cup win over Real Madrid on Sunday.

“The first (trophy) of the season, the first with this giant shirt that is Barcelona. Just thank you for this amazing moment. Let’s go for more”.

Arsenal look to reinforce their attack after the long term injury of Gabriel Jesus at last year’s Mondial and after missing out on Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea, the Gunners look to improve their depth in attack.

Fc Barcelona have placed a 100 million Euros price tag on Raphinha should any club be interested in the Brazilian as his contract runs until 2027.

Raphinha has been scored three goals and assisted five times despite starting just 12 of the 22 games he has featured in.

Arsenal have also been linked with Brighton forward Leandro Trossard with a move for Declan Rice over the summer likely as well
