Rashford becomes first player since Rooney to score in 7 straight games

Marcus Rashford is the first Manchester United player since Wayne Rooney to score in seven straight Premier League games at Old Trafford. The in-form striker bagged a brace against Leicester City.

Rooney started his goalscoring record in December 2009 that lasted until March 2010, making it eight league games at Old Trafford in a row in total.

Rashford has equaled Ronaldo’s tally of 24 goals which saw him become the top scorer of the team last season.

Manchester United are now just three points behind Manchester City.
