Member Of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has stated why he won’t invest or sponsor any in football course in the country.
According to the Businessman, the only football person he can trust with his investment and believes can change the face of football to a better course is George Afriyie, who unfortunately lost the Ghana Football Association presidential elections to Kurt Okraku.
“George Afriyie is my friend, and I promised to support him with my money if he had won,” Agyapong told KenCity Media.
“He is the only person I can trust with my money when I talk for positive change he will listen. Unfortunately, he was voted and I don’t see why I should waste my money.” He added.
The former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association conceded defeat to Mr. Okraku ahead of the third round of the Ghana FA presidential election.
