Hearts of Oak gaffer Edward Nii Odoom has revealed his outfit are ready to compete in CAF organized inter club games for the first time since 2015 if not for COVID 19.
It has not been too smooth for the phonians this season in terms of performance as they sit 8th on the Ghana Premier League table before COVID 19.
“When it is about playing in Africa, my team is ready but we cannot play because of COVID-19,” he said.
“But the conditions around the coronavirus pandemic can’t make us play in Africa. This is because you wouldn’t know the actual conditions in the country you are going to play in. You have to ensure that everyone is safe.”
Hearts Of Oak are without a major trophy since 2009 and will be hoping to do so under the leadership of Edward Odoom.
