Ghana goalkeeper Richard Ofori shows gratitude to Orlando Pirate Chairman Irvin Khoza as he moves to Amazulu FC.
Ofori joined the club in 2020, and over the past four years, he has evolved not just as a player but also as an individual under the chairman’s leadership.
“To my Chairman! Words fail me. You allowed me to spread my wings and grow as a player and individual,” Ofori remarked in an emotional farewell. He credited Khoza’s guidance and belief in him as pivotal to his development during his time with the Buccaneers. Under his leadership, Ofori grew into a key figure at the club, helping the team navigate both triumphs and challenges.
Beyond the tactical growth, Ofori also spoke about how Khoza’s mentorship had instilled in him life values, which he carries forward into the future. Ofori’s gratitude was obvious as he thanked Khoza for shaping his path and contributing to his personal and professional development.
