The French coach who was formerly at the helm of affairs at Bechem United will touch down in Ghana on Thursday 25th March 2021 according to Nana Kwasi Darlington who is the new welfare Officer and Sporting director of AshantiGold SC.
“He will touch down in Ghana on Thursday 25th March and spend two days in Accra to secure his work permit” he told Oyerepa FM’s Clement Owusu
“He will immediately join the team for the Karela United match next Weekend ” he added
This is Romain Folz’s second coming to Ghana after resigning from Bechem United in July 2020.
Under Folz’s tutelage, Bechem lost one game in five matches. The club was 8th on the league log before the suspension and eventual cancellation of the league.
