Samreboi based club FC Samartex 1996 is one of the clubs in Ghana who have not given their players a break as some the government has prohibited gathering such footballing events as precautionary measures against covid-19 (corona virus).
Their head coach, Bismark Kobi Mensah disclosed this in an interview with Sekondi/Takoradi based radio station Spice Fm.
“We wanted to break them but upon further meetings, we realized that breaking them will be more dangerous as they will be exposed to the covid 19 more than they being in camp.”
Coach Bismark Kobi Mensah also said in as much as they will not break camp, the players won’t be allowed to train together.
“Each Player will do his own training as we have given each player a program to follow.”
Several clubs such as Asante Kotoko and Sekondi Eleven Wise are on break as precautionary measures in preventing Covid 19(corona virus)
