THE SMITH WAY: Johnson Smith Wins First Game In Charge Of Kotoko Against Dreams FC.[VIDEO]

Kumasi Asante Kotoko defeated Dreams FC by a goal to nil in week six of the Ghana Premier League away from home.

The game was Kotoko’s first since the sacking of former coach Maxwell Konadu and with Johnson Smith in charge as an interim boss.

Full back Imoro Ibrahim produced a moment of magic with a beautiful long-range goal in the 20th-minute which turned out to be the winner for the porcupines.

The win becomes Asante Kotoko’s second in the league this season with their first coming against Legon Cities who are struggling under coach Bashir Hayford.

Asante Kotoko will now concentrate on the CAF Champions League game against Al Hilal from Sudan on Wednesday at the Tamale Sports Stadium before the Christmas break.
