Former Black Stars skipper Stephen Appiah has revealed the exciting working relationship he had with former coach Akwesi Appiah during their stint with the national team.
Appiah was part of Kwasi Appiah’s technical team together with Ibrahim Tanko, Maxwell Konadu, and Richard Kingson with Appiah serving as the technical coordinator.
In an exclusive interview with Joy Sports, the former Juventus player said:
“We worked for hand in hand. Everything was very cool in camp. He [Kwasi Appiah] is a type who listens, he is the type whose doors are open when you have a suggestion you can go to him and talk to him about it.”
“No No.. at the end of the day, he is the boss so you will give him your suggestion or opinion but at the end of the day, he has to take the final decision. I never ever had any problem with him in camp.”
The entire technical team of the Black Stars got sacked in January this year as the current leaders of the Ghana Football Association aim at a new direction for the team.
