Mukwala arrives at Simba with a proven goalscoring record. During his two-year stint with Ghanaian side Asante Kotoko, he netted a remarkable 27 goals and provided 7 assists in 64 appearances across all competitions (excluding the FA Cup).
Before his Ghanaian adventure, Steven Mukwala honed his skills in Uganda, playing for URA FC, Vipers FC, and Maroons FC.
Simba SC, aiming to improve on their third-place finish in the 2023/24 Tanzanian Premier League, welcomes Mukwala’s goal-scoring prowess. The club secured 69 points after 30 matches last season and is hopeful for a stronger showing in the upcoming campaign. To prepare for the new season, Simba will embark on a pre-season trip to Egypt on July 5th, where they will participate in a series of friendly matches.
With Mukwala’s arrival bolstering their attack, Simba SC appears determined to reclaim their dominance in Tanzanian football and potentially make a significant impact on the continental stage.
