Ex-Black Stars talisman, Sulley Muntari has stressed that he is excited after joining Hearts of Oak, a club he describes as one of the biggest on the African continent.
The former Uefa Champions League winner joined the Phobians officially on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, on a free transfer.
In his first interview with the media team of Hearts of Oak, Sulley Muntari has explained why he decided to join the Ghana Premier League giants.
“Hearts of Oak play good and quality football, they are top team and one of the biggest in African so am happy to be part of the team,” Muntari shared.
Sulley Muntari, 37, has signed a one-year deal with the Phobians and will be seen in action with the club in the second round of the ongoing 2021/22 football season.
In the past, Sulley Muntari had a stellar career in Europe where he excelled in Italy as well as England.
He formerly played for Udinese, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Sunderland, as well as Deportivo La Coruña, and a few other clubs.
