Thelma Baffour join TP Mazembe women’s from Jonina Football Acadamy

Jonina Football Acadamy playmaker, Thelma Baffour has been transferred to Tout Puissant Mazembe (TP Mazembe women’s) in Congo.

According to multiple reports, Baffour’s transfer from Jonina Football Acadamy, a newly promoted Malta Guinness women’s premier league side is the record transfer fee for a female football in the history of Ghana.

Baffour formally played for a division one league side Valued Girls and Malta Guinness women’s premier league side Berry Ladies before joining Jonina Football Acadamy where she becomes their most important player.

In the hut ended GARFA women’s division one league champaign, the former Berry Ladies players had been very instrumental for her side with her rich experience.

Her performance in the league ends her the most valuable player in the season after scoring 24 goals and proving 17 assists and 6 MVP’s in 14 games.

Also, Baffour was one of the pivotal players that helped Jonina Ladies is qualifying to the Malta Guinness women’s premier league from the Regional women’s championship that ended some few days ago in Kibi.

After five (5) round of  matches, Thelma scored four (4) goals and provided  seven (7) assists to help her former side qualify to top flight football.

According to rumor, Jonina Ladies management is trying to retire her famous jersey number 27 to honor her.
