Blackstars head coach Otto Addo is highly optimistic over his side’s chances of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Blackstars will face the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday for the leg of the World Cup Playoff.
“It is reasonable that people are skeptical. It is normal. But in all of the skepticism, there is a chance.
‘Football is football. We can play good and lose. We can play bad and win.
‘We have worked hard. The players are ready.”
Many have raised questions of the telepathy and cohesion of the team as new faces have been called for this crucial game but Otto Addo says he has a plan.
“ it’s obvious we’ve not played together for so long but we have a plan, and we will execute it tomorrow.”
Ghana are aiming at qualifying for the World Cup for the fourth time after failing to make it in the last editor in Russia.
