Former Accra Hearts of Oak defender, Vincent Atinga has descended heavily on his former captain Thomas Abbey for saying Accra Hearts Of Oak lost the finals of the 2017 MTN Cup to Asante Kotoko because they were owed by the club.
Vincent Atinga who won the WAFU trophy with Black B in an interview with Solomon Amankwa on Sekunde Sports on Sekondi/Takoradi based radio station Kyzz FM, said Thomas Abbey is not serious and he shouldn’t talk nonsense out of pressure.
“Thomas Abbey is not serious and he shouldn’t stay in Ghana and talk nonsense out of pressure.”
Vincent Atinga said before the finals of the 2017 MTN FA Cup, Accra Hearts of Oak wasn’t owing them a penny and he believes Thomas Abbey is painting them black.
“Before we left to Temale for the MTN FA Cup final, Accra Hearts of Oak wasn’t owing us a penny. We were regularly going to training and everything was fine. Thomas Abbey is painting us black with his statement.”
Vincent Atinga said he would have loved to win that trophy for Accra Hearts of Oak who has not won a trophy for a long time to put his name in the history books of Accra Hearts of Oak.
