Tobge Afede XIV presents sanitizers and GH¢100,00 to hospitals in Ho

Majority shareholder of Accra Hearts of Oak Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of Asogli state, has presented an amount of GH¢100,000 and 2,200 sanitizers to two hospitals in Ho to help combat the corona virus outbreak.

Togbe Afede donated GH¢ 60,000 and GH¢40,000 to Ho Teaching Hospital and Ho Municipal Hospital respectively along with 2,200 sanitizers to the community.

He explained that his show of good faith is to assist the various hospitals and the entire community to help fight the corona virus.

He then urged all traditional authorities to prioritize proper sanitation and educate their subjects to adhere to the safety protocols that has been issued to the world by the World health organisation and the directives of the President Nana Akufo Addo.

The President of the National House of Chiefs urged Ghanaians to learn significant lessons from the current crisis to be more independent as a nation and also asked that we do more to protect the senior citizens and those who are more vulnerable to the disease.

He called for vigilance in dealing with the outbreak and praised the hospitals for their efforts so far.
