Arsenal defender Gabriel dos Santos Magalhães was attacked by two thieves to try to steal his car, and phone.
The 23year old Brazilian defender Gabriel resisted them, fought back, and hit one of them called Abdel R, Rahim Muse a drug dealer in the face.
According to the police report, the thieves were recognized by the police based on the evidence they gathered at the site of the incident.
The thieves demanded Gabriel the keys, to the car, his mobile phone, and his watch as he got out of his car. Then one of the attackers rushed towards Gabriel with the bat, but Gabriel hit him in the face,d wrestled him to the ground, and held his hat until the thief slipped out of his grasp and fled.
Such stuff scare foreign players away from the area and eventually leave the clubs especially if his wife was traumatized psychologically.
Gabriel joined Arsenal from French side Lille in 2020 for £27 million and has been one of manager Mikel Arteta’s most consistent players.
The Brazilian defender has played 42 times since joining the club and in the last 10 league games for the Gunners, he has been Mikel Arteta’s trusted man to lead his defense.
