U17WWCQ – Black Maidens spells Lonestar for Liberia

Ghana U-17 Women’s National team, Black Maidens annihilated the Lonestars of Liberia 8-0 in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier 2nd leg game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Black Maidens on Saturday 15th March afternoon spelled Liberia U-17 Women’s National team’s nickname Lonestar by beating them 8-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Black Maidens recorded 3 goals within 7 minutes in the first half courtesy to Striker Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah’ brace and Salamatu Abdulai goal.

Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah within 7 minutes recorded another brace to make it 5-0 for Ghana.

Elizabeth Oppong joined the goalscoring party with a beautiful long range kick to extend Ghana’s lead on the 28th minutes.

The first half ended 6-0 in favor of the Black Maidens of Ghana.

Substitute Alice Sarpong scored a penalty kick for Ghana few minutes into the second half to make it 7-0 for Ghana.

Tracy Twum on the 66th minutes also recorded her name on the the Score sheet and extended the lead for Ghana.

The game ended 10-0 on aggregate in favour of the Black Maidens of Ghana.
