Manchester United have officially announced the appointments of Rene Hake and Ruud van Nistelrooy as assistant managers under Erik ten Hag.
Both have committed to two-year contracts, bringing significant experience and fresh perspectives to the coaching team.
Ten Hag expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am delighted that Rene and Ruud have agreed to join our project, adding a wealth of experience, knowledge and new energy to the staff. Now is a good time to refresh the coaching team as we look to build on the achievements of the past two years and push to the next level.”

With these new additions, the club bids farewell to coaching staff members Mitchell van der Gaag and Benni McCarthy.
Van Nistelrooy, who played for Manchester United from 2001 to 2006 and scored 150 goals in 219 appearances, returns in a new role, while Hake brings valuable experience from his time as head coach at Twente and Utrecht in the Netherlands.
