The former forward for Inter Allies and Legon Cities FC, Victorien Adebayor, has now joined the AmaZulu FC squad of the South African Premier Soccer League.
The player from Niger has signed a two-year deal with the Durban-based team.
Adebayor was about to sign a two-year contract with Simba of Tanzania, but the deal fell through at the last minute.
In the course of his professional career, Adebayor has played for the Ghanaian teams Inter Allies and Legon Cities, as well as for HB Koege in Denmark.
In addition, he has ties to AS Douanes in Niger and worked on a loan for ENPPI in Egypt.
