Rashid Nortey, midfielder for Medeama Sporting Club has showered praises on Ghanaian Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, pointing him as one of his motivators
“I think Shatta Wale’s music always motivates me. I will tell my fellow team mates not to look down on Shatta Wale,” Nortey told Gary Al-Smith of Joy FM.
“He [Shatta Wale] is an artiste who propagates the truth and motivates the youth and helps us to achieve our aim. To me, I think Shatta Wale is a motivator,” he deduced.

Nortey has struggled this season due to injuries, and will be hoping to help push the Tarkwa based side up the table when the league resumes.
