Aduana Stars Defender , Caleb Amankah says the huge humiliation score line wafa gave it Accra Hearts of oak was as a result of Malik Akowuah’s bragging.
He made this statement in an interview with Nhyira Fm morning sports program.
The former West Africa Football Academy player revealed that Malik Akowuah, Hearts of Oak midfield Dynamo was bragging and making fun of WAFa football team which provoked them to humiliate the never say die boys that day with huge score line Margin
“Malik Akowuah of Hearts of Oak provoked us to humiliate the continental club masters that day in the league game 5-0 scoreline”
He added that “at the National team duty, Gideon Waja and Majeed Ashimiru alerted me of how Malik was begging and underrating WAFA whole team which was disgusting and provocative. They (Waja and Gideon) told us to train well because the way Malik is talking and bragging they are up to something.”
According to the Aduana Stars Defender he fished out the game plan of the Continental club masters which they plotted to outplay at Sogakope “During the game Hearts of Oak deployed a tactics and system to frustrate us in the game to prevent us on our game plan”
He added that “Buy our coach told us to posses most of the balls in our own half in order for Hearts of Oak players to come out from their half. When the first goal came for us it opened the door for us to expose their defence and score them more goals”
The former WAFA product stated that they could have score more goals that day which some of the hearts players were even whispering to them to slow down “our coach told us we could have score them more than ten goals which some of the hearts players were whispering into our ears of us slowing down on them but in Sogakope if you brag and underrate us you have more goals to conceed in your net as a visiting team”
