Wamanafo To Appeal GFA Sanctions – Joe Parah

When your hand is in someone else mouth you don’t knock on his head. The Wamanafo community turned into a semi cemetery after the Disciplinary committee of the football association slapped them with a fine of twenty thousand Ghana cedis (GH₵20,000) and also banned from playing its home matches at the Wamanafo Community park for the rest of the 2020/21 league season after being found to have breached the Division One League Regulations (2019) and the Disciplinary Code (2019) in their league match against Bofoakwa Tano played at the Wamanafo Town park on March 28, 2021.

The club through their Paramount chief, Osagyefo Agyemang Bedu I rendered an unqualified apology to the FA president during his visit weeks ago but that was not enough to save them from the Raff of the Disciplinary committee.

Joe Parah, a management member accepted the fact that they were wrong but this punishment is an uphill for them since it might collapse their team and would in the coming days write to appeal the decision.

It must be said that, the Police commander and his men are still investigating the matter and will soon cause the arrest of those perpetrators so that they can be brought before the law as it would also serve as an example to others whose mainly aim is to cause mayhem and unnecessary tension at game venues.
