Young Apostles tactician Joseph Asare-Bediako has hailed his tactical approach against Asante Kotoko.
The Ghana Premier League newcomers held the Porcupine Warriors to a 1-1 draw at the Obuasi Len Clay in the Matchday three games on Sunday.
Daniel Lomotey opened the scoring for Young Apostles to give them the lead against the Reds.
However, Emmanuel Antwi scored a belter with minutes away from full time to ensure the Porcupine Warriors avoided defeat in their first home game of the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Speaking after the game, the veteran trainer praised his side’s preparedness ahead of the game and insisted they were the better side
“We were prepared to face Asante Kotoko squarely,” Asare-Bediako said.
“Our tactics worked to perfection; tactically, we were better,” he added.
Young Apostles will hope to continue their mini-revival when they host Aduana Stars at the Wenchi Sports Stadium while Asante Kotoko travel to play Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park all in the Matchday four games this weekend.
