WE’RE ON COURSE AND WOULD NOT BE CARRIED AWAY : COACH SAMUEL BOADU

Head Coach of Ghanian Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu says his side is focused and will not be carried away by complecency following their recent performances in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.

His extraordinary and consistent performance has seen him won all his last three games which has place them in a pole position to win the league for the very first time in eleven years

For breakdown of their successive runs, Hearts of Oak got an important 2-0 home victory over King Faisal, then beat Bechem United 0-1 at the Nana Fosu-Gyeabour park.

Speaking after the game, Boadu said, His side will not be swallow headed with their winning streak in the current 2020/21 Ghana Premier League campaign.

In view of the fact that there’s more matches ahead of us,I can say we’re not going to enjoy this win too much.

We are planning towards the rest of the games and with the hope that, if we focus on our remaining matches and win most of them, I believe that it will help us.”

I can confidently say that we are still on course because we want to achieve something big for the club”, Samuel Boadu said.

We need them [the fans] to support the club because it is not an easy match.

We know we are going to play against Medeama, Olympics, Chelsea and Kotoko and they are not easy games

But we believe in ourselves and I believe in my boys that they will exhibit same the tactics I will put in place and win all the matches at home. He added.

Hearts of Oak, now with 43 points sits second on the league log thrilling league leaders and arc rivals Kotoko with only two points.

They play quest to Techiman Eleven Wonders in their next week 26 encounter.
