Wesley Fofana has expressed relief at having resolved the tension with his Chelsea teammate Enzo Fernandez, but he believes Fernandez needs to learn from the racism controversy that affected the team during pre-season.
The scandal erupted after a video surfaced showing Fernandez and his national team singing a derogatory song about the French following their Copa America victory.
Several Chelsea players, including Fofana, publicly criticized Fernandez, calling the act ‘uninhibited racism.’
Despite the controversy, Fofana defended Fernandez, stating that he is not a racist. Speaking at the team’s training camp, Fofana revealed that he and Enzo Fernandez had a candid discussion about the incident.
