Ghanaian midfielder and West Ham standout Mohammed Kudus shone brightly at the 2024 Ghana Football Awards, held on Saturday. The 23-year-old was honored with the prestigious Footballer of the Year award, celebrating. His exceptional season in the English Premier League with the Hammers.
Mohammed Kudus triumphed over strong contenders including Abdul Fatawu Issahaku from Leicester City. Osman Bukari of Crvena zvezda, and Inaki Williams from Athletic Bilbao to clinch the top accolade.
In addition to being named Footballer of the Year. Kudus also earned the Goal of the Year award for his spectacular strike against Freiburg in the UEFA Europa League.
This achievement marks Kudus as the second Ghanaian footballer to win the Footballer of the Year award in consecutive years.
