World Girls FC defeated Soccer Ambassador 4-0 to begin the second phase.
Chidinma Onwuka scored twice and each from Lucy Kikeh and Mamie Kallon were enough to give the Iron Lady Girls all three points at the Samuel Kanyon Practice Pitch in Paynesville City over the weekend.
At the same time at the SKD Practice Pitch Determined Girls FC maintained the top of the table with an impressive 8-0 win over struggling Earth Angels.
Determined Girls FC have played 11 games without a defeat since the start of this season, and have collected 33 points from 11 games.
Guinean International Bountou Sylla scored four goals, and Paulinho Agbotsu two combine with each from Marthaline Moore and Love Koffa were enough to secure all three points for the Orange/LFA National Women’s league Champions.
Meanwhile at the George Weah Technical Center, in Careysburg DC Shooters FC failed to meetup with time against City Football Academy.
According to reports the three points were rewarded to City Football Academy.
And to climaxed the day at the Tusa Field, Shaitta Angels FC and Blanco FC settled to a 2-2 draw.
A brace goal from Rebbeca Togba put Blanco FC in the lead, and Annieta Tarpeh scored a penalty goal in the first half which ended the first half 2-0 ahead of Shaitta Angels FC.
As the Angels returned to the second half of the game, pressure from Nigerian-based female Striker, Rita Ifeoma and a “Puska” goal from Malusu Blama were enough over the weekend to settled a 2-2 draw and rescued a point against Blanco FC at the Tusa Field but haven’t save the Angels from escaping the relegation zone.
